We have so much more to offer as well: wonderfully groomed cross-country trails and Austria's most beautiful high trail in Schönfeld, a floodlit toboggan run, snowshoeing, ice-stock lanes, cleared winter hiking paths etc. etc. etc.

TOURING
Pure nature!

Anyone who has ever experienced the magic of snow-covered winter countryside away from the slopes, knows that touring is far more than just trudging up hill and down dale through the white stuff. The Nockberge are ideal mountains in which to tour, their gently domed summits easy to explore on touring skis or snowshoes. All the equipment you need is available for rent at Sport Schiffer.

Ski Touring! From easy sampler tours (to acquaint you with basic techniques and equipment) to challenging tours up to the Königstuhl at 2336 meters above sea level. Tours can be booked direct through the Sport Schiffer Ski & Sports School.

Snowshoeing! This sport is quick to learn, and during a sampler tour through Innerkrems with our experienced touring guide, you will soon be able to experience the magic of snowshoeing for yourself. Twice weekly we offer guided tours for all ability levels.

Touring incl. refreshments at an Alpine hut! We would be glad to organize a ski or snowshoeing tour so that it includes a visit to an Alpine hut for food, refreshments and a great party atmosphere!

Snowshoe hike including a fun-filled tobogganing adventure! This hike will take us through magical winter countryside to a friendly Alpine hut, where we will be greeted by mouth-watering regional specialties. Afterwards, we’ll hop on our toboggans and ride down a groomed trail back to the valley belowl.

The toboggan run is open daily for your enjoyment. It begins at the church on the Nockalmstrasse (length ca. 1 km). Toboggan rentals available through Sport Schiffer or by prior arrangement at the toboggan run itself – Toboggan Hotline: +43(0)4736/345

Innerkrems Toboggan King!
Fun toboggan race for the whole family, every Wednesday at 8pm on the floodlit run in Innerkrems next to the church. Great prizes await the winners! Two-man sleds, children ride in their own division. To keep you warm from the inside, Astrid at the Hotel Berghof will supply ample hot spiced wine and punch.

Toboggan King – Team Trophy!
Is there a local hotel or inn that has yet to accept the challenge? If 4 men/woman from a hotel or inn get can together, they are welcome to enter the next toboggan race as a team, then let the excitement begin! The team with the fastest time will be able to take the trophy back to their lodgings with them, where it will remain until the next races. And your host will definitely have a surprise in store for the winning team.

The Schönfeld - Karneralm area is developing into a real El Dorado of Nordic sports. Unique are the beautiful high trails, snowshoe climbs across pristine, sunny, snow-covered hillsides, and the tranquility which is radiated by the valley below.
